Official Contest Rules & Regulations

Mastering Optimism, Resilience, and Financial Wellness Webinar Contest (“the Contest”)

1. Eligibility

To enter and be eligible to win, you must (1) be a resident of Ontario, (2) have reached the age of majority in their province of residence, and (3) have participated in at least one of Educators Financial Group’s webinars from the Mastering Optimism, Resilience, and Financial Wellness webinar series described below for the entire Contest Period.

You are not eligible to enter this contest if are an employee, representative or agent of, or domiciled with an employee, representative or agent of, Educators Financial Group, its affiliates, marketing, and advertising agencies, suppliers, or contest judges.

2. Contest Period

The Contest runs from on Tuesday, February 9th, 2021 at 4:30pm EST to Tuesday, February 9th, 2021 at 6:00pm EST and Thursday, February 18th, 2021 at 4:30pm EST to Thursday, February 18th, 2021 at 6:00pm (the “Contest Period”). Winners will be selected from webinar attendees present during the Contest Period.

3. How to Enter

No purchase necessary. All eligible individuals who sign up and participate in one of Educators Financial Group’s webinars from the Mastering Optimism, Resilience, and Financial Wellness webinar series will be automatically entered into the Contest. Limit one (1) entry per person, per e-mail address, and per webinar during the Contest Period.

4. Draw

Five (5) potential winning entries will be randomly drawn on Friday, February 19th, 2021 from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. Prize winners will be informed by email. If a winning entrant cannot be contacted by email with the email provided at webinar registration within (10) business days of the official draw date, is not eligible in accordance with these Contest Rules, does not correctly answer the mathematical skill-testing question, does not sign and return any requested document within the specified time, or otherwise comply with these Contest Rules, the selected entrant will be disqualified and will not receive the Prize and a new potential winner will be drawn from the remaining eligible contest entries.

In order to claim the Prize, winning entrant will be required to: correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question to be administered by mail or phone; sign and return Educators Financial Group’s standard liability release and publicity release form within 14 days of Prize notification; and otherwise comply with all Contest Rules.

The drawing will be conducted by Educators Financial Group, the judge of the Contest, whose decisions on all matters relating to the Contest shall be final

5. Grand Prizes (“the Prize”) & Odds of Winning

There will be a total of five (5) Well.ca gift cards, valued at $50 (fifty dollars), awarded from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. The Prize must be accepted as awarded. Odds of winning are dependent on the total number of eligible entries received. Educators Financial Group reserves the right to substitute a prize with one of equal or greater value if the advertised Prize is unavailable.

6. General Conditions

a) Educators Financial Group, the Contest Sponsor, reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Contest or Contest Rules without prior notice at any time and for any reason.

b) By entering the Contest, each entrant agrees and acknowledges that Educators Financial Group and Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation, their affiliates and advertising and promotions agencies, and each of their respective employees, officers, shareholders, representatives, directors and agents (collectively “Releasees”) are not responsible for and shall not be liable for any injury or other damage to person or property of any kind or any other liability, which may be caused, directly or indirectly, from accessing, downloading or transmitting any material from the contest website or is otherwise related to the Contest or Prize. Entrants assume all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, relating to this Contest or Prize.

c) Educators Financial Group assumes no responsibility for entries that are lost, stolen, delayed, damaged or misdirected either prior to or after delivery of the entry to Educators Financial Group. Entries are subject to verification and will be declared invalid if they are, or become, illegible, mechanically reproduced, mutilated, forged, falsified, altered or tampered with in any way. Entrants agree to abide by these Contest Rules and the decisions of Educators Financial Group, which are final.

d) All entries become the property of Educators Financial Group.

e) By entering this Contest, all winners consent to the use of their name, city of residence, comments and/or photograph, without compensation, in any publicity carried out by Educators Financial Group in connection with this Contest.

f) Personal data gathered by Educators Financial Group will be used to administer this Contest. No further informational or marketing communications will be received by entrants unless entrants provide explicit permission to do so as indicated on the entry form. g) The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws.

7. Winners List

For a winners’ list, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to: Wellness Webinar Contest Winners List, Attention: Marketing Team, Educators Financial Group, 2225 Sheppard Avenue E., Suite 1105, Toronto, Ontario, M2J 5C2. Requests for the names of winners must be received within one month after the end of the Contest Period.
