Educators Financial Group made the A+ list… again!

2013 is already off to a great start, as Educators Financial Group was recently recognized with the 2012 FundData FundGrade A+ Award for the Educators Mortgage and Income Fund.

It’s the second year in a row that we’ve received this distinction for this outstanding Fund – an exciting achievement, especially when you consider that we were ranked against over 7,000 funds and fewer than 5% of eligible funds in Canada receive an A+ rating!

How the FundGrade rating system works – and why it matters.

Basically, the FundGrade rating system applies a letter-grade ranking each month to Canadian investment funds on a scale of A (top 10%) to E (bottom 10%). Then, at the end of the year, the fund’s overall performance is evaluated and assigned an overall letter grade. To get an A+ rating, a fund needs to show outstanding, consistent performance throughout the year.

Why do we care so much about this rating?

Not only does a FundGrade A+ Award look great in our trophy case, it’s also important in that it lets investors like you know that the Educators Mortgage and Income Fund is among the best-of-the-best when it comes to fund performance!
