Educators Financial Group welcomes Charles Symons as new Chief Financial Officer

TORONTO, ON, October 20, 2025 – Educators Financial Group® is pleased to announce the appointment of Charles Symons as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective October 20, 2025.

Mr. Symons comes to Educators with over 20 years of experience in guiding organizations through change, growth, and regulatory complexity. He most recently held the position of CFO with Aligned Capital Partners, and prior to that, served in various senior roles, including Director of Finance at IKEA Canada. In addition to Mr. Symons’ financial and regulatory expertise, he has an excellent track record of collaboration, working with cross-functional partnerships, and developing team members.

Mr. Symons holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) from the University of Windsor and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA).
