When it comes to financial matters, educators share many common concerns and challenges. Educators Financial Group presents four FREE informative workshops:
• Based on educators life stage, and career level • Led by fully-accredited financial planners
• Lively and engaging sessions – 1 to 1.5 hours • Accommodating groups up to 100 or more

Here's how it works:

Choose amongst the topics below. Then simply call us to schedule a workshop in your school or district. You book the venue, usually a room at your district office or school, and we'll provide everything else, including goodies.

Financial Planning for Early Career Educators: Learn the fundamentals of financial planning early in your career, including cash flow management, building a credit rating and financing your first home. We'll introduce the basics of investing and provide an overview of what to expect from your pension. 'Pay yourself first' right from the start! -- Retirement Planning for Educators: Do you have the income you need to live the retirement you envision? Learn how to reposition your investments to reflect your changing financial objectives and risk levels. We'll also highlight key strategies to split income with a spouse and minimize overall tax; show you how to capitalize on a retirement gratuity, and explain pension basics. -- Investment Planning for Educators: The world of stocks, bonds and mutual funds is complex, and our expert planner will give you a broad overview. You will also learn investment concepts, and time-tested strategies that can help you achieve your goals. Planning, discipline, and long-term commitment - you've got what it takes! -- Estate Planning for Retired Educators: We'll cover the basics of a solid estate plan: how to minimize probate fees and taxes, maximize your estate, and reduce stress on family members. You'll learn about wills, proper beneficiary designations for RRSPs and RRIFs, and powers of attorney for both personal care and property. You've earned it-your estate is yours to control!
