"Need a vacation" Contest

Contest Rules

1. No purchase necessary. To be automatically entered, please visit www.educatorsfinancialgroup.ca and complete the A-list sign up form. If you don't have access to the web, you may call us at 1-800-263-9541 and we will enter your submission over the phone. Limit one entry per person.
2. The contest runs from May 3 to July 31, 2010.
3. There will be 1 prize of $1,500 that can be put towards your next vacation of choice.
4. Chances of winning are dependent on the total number of entries received.
5. A random draw will be held in Toronto, Ontario, to select the prize winner. The draw will be held on Thursday August 5, 2010. There will be 1 prize winner. In order to be entered into the draw, completed entry forms must be received by midnight EDT July 31, 2010. Educators Financial Group is not responsible for any lost, late, illegible, or misdirected entries.
6. To be eligible to enter, a person must (1) be a member of the education community (defined at the end of this paragraph) or a spouse, parent, child or sibling of a member, (2) be a resident of Ontario or British Columbia, (3) have reached the age of majority in their province of residence and (4) not be an employee, representative or agent of, or domiciled with an employee, representative or agent of, Educators Financial Group, its affiliates, marketing and advertising agencies, suppliers or contest judges. A member of the education community is someone who is employed by an educational institution in Ontario or British Columbia.
7. All decisions of the contest judges are final and binding on all entrants and without appeal.
8. The selected entrant will be contacted by phone. In order to win, the selected entrant is required to correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question to be administered by mail or phone, sign and return a standard liability release and publicity release within 14 days of prize notification, and otherwise comply with the contest rules. If a selected entrant cannot be contacted or has not responded within a reasonable time, is not eligible in accordance with these contest rules, does not correctly answer the mathematical skill-testing question, does not sign and return any requested document within the specified time, or otherwise comply with these contest rules, the selected entrant is disqualified and will not receive the prize and another entrant will be selected.
9. By entering the Contest, each entrant agrees and acknowledges that Educators Financial Group and Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation, their affiliates and advertising and promotions agencies, and each of their respective employees, officers, shareholders, representatives, directors and agents (collectively "Releasees") are not responsible for and shall not be liable for any injury or other damage to person or property of any kind or any other liability, which may be caused, directly or indirectly, from accessing, downloading or transmitting any material from the contest website or is otherwise related to the contest or prize. Entrants assume all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, relating to this contest or prize.
10. In the event of a dispute regarding who submitted an on-line entry, the entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry.
11. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize with one of equal or greater value and to cancel, suspend or amend the contest without prior notice at any time and for any reason.
12. Personal data gathered by Educators Financial Group will be used to administer this Contest. No further informational or marketing communications will be received by entrants unless entrants provide explicit permission to do so as indicated on the entry form. Please see Educators Financial Group's Privacy Policy at www.educatorsfinancialgroup.ca for information on its policy towards maintaining the privacy and security of your information.
13. All entries become the property of Educators Financial Group. Winner, by entering this contest, consents to the use of their name, city of residence, comments and/or photograph, without compensation, in any publicity carried out by Educators Financial Group in connection with this contest.
14. For a winner's list, send a self-addressed stamped envelope with a request to "I need a vacation" Contest - Winner's List, 2225 Sheppard Avenue E., #1105, Toronto, Ontario, M2J 5C2 before October 4, 2010.
